At Sethco, we pride ourselves on using premium lumber from two local western stud mills, specializing in western species and traditionally-sourced Canadian lumber. Western wood, harvested from old-growth forests with larger trees, results in straighter, higher-quality boards, making it easier and more efficient for builders to work with. Unlike eastern wood, which comes from smaller, newer growth that present more challenges, our western lumber ensures fewer defects and smoother projects. This is why we prefer stocking western species to meet the needs of builders who value quality and reliability.
